Associate Attorney
Kansas City, Missouri

Taylor Jensen’s creative and efficient approach to complex commercial real estate and construction cases is built by her experience practicing at an insurance defense firm.

Prior to joining Long & Robinson, Taylor defended corporate, individual, and state entities in large-loss claims arising out of construction, personal injury, and insurance coverage disputes. While there, she managed large caseloads and files and acquired a diverse motion practice.

Taylor now advocates on behalf of a broad range of clients across the construction and real estate industries, including investment firms, brokers, owners, developers, general contractors and subcontractors.

These clients benefit from her background and experience that she applies to effectively problem solve during litigation – finding solutions from other areas of law she can relate to construction law.

Detail-oriented, Taylor skillfully handles coordinating large-scale cases involving numerous parties, outside attorneys, depositions, discovery responses and more. Clients value her responsiveness and meticulous nature as she guides them through the complexities of litigation to a resolution.

Taylor graduated summa cum laude from Creighton University and earned her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law. During law school, she served as the Managing Editor for the Journal of Health Law & Policy and as the Vice President for the Women Law Students' Association. She devotes her time to Lawyers Encouraging Academic Performance (LEAP), a not-for-profit foundation which partners with Operation Breakthrough to provide after-school enrichment programming and tutoring.
