Colin Quinn is an Associate at Long & Robinson, LLC. Even before beginning his career as an attorney, he has been fascinated by the effect that the law has on the construction industry. Success in the construction industry requires significant interaction between businesses, governments, and individuals. These relationships can create complex problems for construction companies. Colin is dedicated to helping his clients solve those problems in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Colin reviews, drafts, and negotiates project agreements for clients. He also advises clients facing litigation and assists in dispute resolution.

Before attending law school, Colin graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Construction Science and Management. He was a member of the Sigma Lambda Chi Honors Fraternity and mentored underclassman during their first year in the major. He then graduated from Washburn University School of Law in May of 2013 and was awarded Dean's Honors. Colin received Certificates of Concentration in both Natural Resources Law and Business and Transactional Law.

Colin started his career by serving as both an in-house attorney and project manager to a local asphalt and construction company. There, he gained practical experience in both the operational and legal aspects of the construction industry. More recently, he served as a contract review and negotiation attorney at a large Kansas City based engineering firm. He has reviewed and negotiated several multi-million dollar transactions with owners, general contractors, and large engineering firms. Colin also regularly speaks at seminars for contractors, engineers and architects.

Colin was born and raised in Kansas City and graduated from Rockhurst High School in 2006. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also participates as a chef on a competitive barbeque team.
